Where to Eat?
In Greenwich Village and New York City in general, there are so many restaurants that it is mind boggling. It is possible to just walk the main streets and find 3 or 4 restaurants on every block.
However, if you want to try some restaurants favored by local residents and some of our more famous locals be sure to check below. Many restaurants in Greenwich Village have their own special atmosphere. Some are pretty rustic while others are very elegant. What is most interesting is that price does not always determine what the restaurant will look like or how the food will taste.
