Help for - Order a Service Option or Upgrade

Bio Photo	Photos can be sent via Email or via Regular Mail. Via Email: Photo should be sent as a ".jpg" attachment using your regular email program or any good web email service such as the Free UMO email service. Via Regular Mail: You can also send a standard photograph in an envelope via regular mail. Please note that there is a small one-time additional charge for UMO to convert the photo into a computer image. If you decide to mail us a photo, click here for the mailing address - and mark the envelope "attention UMO Photos". It is a good idea to put your photo between 2 pieces of cardboard to prevent it from being damaged in the mail. (Important - Photos will not be returned).
Music Samples	Song Samples can be sent via Email or via Regular Mail. A one-time, per-song, setup fee is charged to cover encoding, conversion, and loading to our servers. Via Email: Each song sample should be attached as a ".wav" file to a separate email. The subject line should read "Song Sample Attached". In the email should be the Title of the song, your Artist Name or Band Name, the copyright date and the songwriters name. Via Regular Mail: Send your CD or Cassette Tape along with the Title of the song, your Artist Name or Band Name, the Copyright Date and the Songwriters Name. Be sure to include instructions telling us which part and how many seconds of the song are to be placed online, OR you can tell us how many seconds and instruct UMO to select the part. (Important - If you instruct us to choose the part, we will make every effort to pick the best segment possible, HOWEVER, we will not be responsible for re-doing the setup if you don't like the segment we chose.)
Web Address Pointer	A web address pointer can be set up to enable a visitor to go to a special web page or web site that contains more information about you, your band or your music. The pointer can point to a page that is within UMO or at another web site altogether. UMO reserves the right to refuse a Web Address Pointer request for any reason whatsoever. IMPORTANT - UMO will refuse to create a Web Address Pointer to sites which; are pornographic, promote illegal activity, contain questionable businesses, or for any other reason deemed inappropriate or not in the best interests of our company or its clients. HOWEVER, UMO will not be responsible for linking to any site which is inappropriate. The sole responsibility will be borne by the client who requested the link.
Custom Artist Web Page	A Custom Web Page / Bio provides you with the ability to have a web page at UMO which can include graphics, special formatting, colors and layouts which are not of the standard UMO format. Also, a Custom Web Page/Bio is indexed in various Search Engines on the Internet. This enables people to search for your name and find your information even if they don't know you are on UMO. To get a Custom Web Page/Bio email UMO for a quote. Important - A Custom Web Page/Bio is much more expensive to maintain because it requires a web page designer to manually create or modify. If you are already well known, (like Elton Jon or Billy Joel) a Custom Web Page or Bio can provide an advantage because fans can type your name into their favorite search engine and find you. If you are not well known it generally doesn't provide much advantage and your money would be better spent on song samples so that potential fans can determine if they want to come see you or buy your music.
Custom Services	You can purchase custom services through UMO affiliated consultants and sub contractors. Services include but are not limited to; promotion, management, mentoring, engineering and other special assistance. Email UMO, to request a custom service and a quote.
Instructions:	Use the "Instructions box" to provide any additional details needed to process your Upgrade Order. Also, you can use it to enter brief Custom Service information. If you don't have sufficient space, enter "Instructions Sent Via Separate Email" in this box and email the details to UMO.
Total of all items:	After making all the selections desired and after making sure that the correct "line item" amounts are showing alongside of each selected option. Then carefully add all line amounts and enter the total here. Be sure to re-check your math. A difference between the total and the options you selected may delay the installation of your upgrades or options while we contact you for clarification.
Account Name:	This is your Member Login Name. If you are new to UMO, this is the Account Name you entered in the Online Membership Signup.
Password:	This is your Member Login Password. If you are new to UMO, this is the Password you entered in the Online Membership Signup.
Email:	This is your Member Email Address. If you are new to UMO, this is the Email Address you entered in the Online Membership Signup.
